What initially captured your imagination about the medium you use?   I spent 15 yrs in industrial fabrication. During this time I learned to cut and form various types of metal.

What types of things inspire you to create art?  I'm inspired by curves. The radii that surround us in nature.

What life experiences have helped to shape you as an artist? People & places. Cities & wilderness. Death & birth.

Tell us about your creative process, from the beginning of a typical piece to its completion. First I cut petal and leaf from flat sheets of metal. I get them hot in a coal forge. I form them over tools I've created. Then I cut lengths of rod for vine work. Finally forming vine and welding with bloom to a base.

What plans do you have for the future direction of your art?  I am experimenting with wall collage pieces. We'll see....
