Raven’s Wish Gallery is pleased to host an art exhibition featuring the artwork of artist Linda Davis. “Absolutely Abstract” is a celebration of the freedom, creativity, and energy Davis experiences when she paints.

Davis starts most works without a preconceived plan and lets the paint lead the process. She employs bold colors, texture, and layers allowing these to provide the underpainting and then embellishes these established forms. Her work is continually evolving as she experiments with new techniques and strives to be more original and spontaneous. A long-standing member of the Janesville Art League, Linda has won numerous awards in the Wisconsin Regional Arts Program (WRAP). She earned a Bachelor of Arts at Dominican University and studied botanical illustration at the Morton Arboretum. She once thought she had to “paint within the lines,” but once she discovered acrylic and abstraction there were no lines and no rules.
